Michael is a 6th grade teacher in Corona, California with a master's degree and 13 years of teaching experience. He won “Best of Ed Tech” from Tech & Learning for his school video announcement program. He was won 2 international video competitions with his students and was a presenter at the CUE conference in Palm Springs.

His school district is the 9th largest in California and he is a member of the Ed Tech Steering Committee and is a Site Champion for his school in technology. Michael is a member of the Technology Leadership Network for the counties of Riverside and San Bernardino. He recently completed the Teacher Leader Certification Academy, became a Microsoft Innovative Educator, a PBS Digital Innovator for California, and a Classcraft Ambassador. Michael helps to train teachers in his district on how to better use technology in their classroom and with their students. He has had a B.Y.O.D. classroom for over 5 years and has been using Google Apps in his classroom even before there was Google Apps for Education.

Above all, Michael loves to inspire teachers and students to use the gifts they have to better themselves and to help others. Technology is a great way to discover these gifts and to share them with others.
