SF Bay Area
I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and have lived as far south as Santa Barbara and as far east as Italy. I draw upon my own immersion in the multiculturalism of the Bay Area and diversity of interests to foster a multidimensional learning space for different kinds of learners. I feel it is important for children to grow up with the opportunity to be surrounded by different forms of art, music, and traditions from cultures around the world. I encourage them to make their own connections so that learning is relevant and piques their interest. One way I bridge these connections is by using technology to create a resource-rich environment. When I'm not looking for ways to enhance my lessons with technology, I can be found rolling around on my useless wooden toy, spinning flat plastic sound, capture digital moments, and hugging trees in the woods.
