Darin Nakakihara is a 4th-grade teacher in the Irvine Unified School District. He has served as an EdTech TOSA and taught the 4th and 5th grade at Stonegate Elementary and, in 2014, was recognized as IUSDs Teacher of Promise. In 2015, Darin was Orange County CUEs Outstanding Emerging Educator and this year, Microsoft selected Darin to represent the United States at their Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert Global Educator Exchange Conference in Budapest Hungary. Most recently, Darin traveled to Stockholm Sweden where he became a Google for Education Certified Innovator.
